Carla Selman is the Head of Latin American country risk. She joined the company in 2014, having previously worked in political risk in London, in Chile's diplomatic missions in France, and as a journalist in Santiago, Chile. Carla holds an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics, a master's degree in Geopolitics and International Relations from Sciences-Po Toulouse, France, and a degree in journalism from Universidad Católica de Chile. Originally from Chile, she is currently based in London.

Prior to joining Market Intelligence, he worked on the Corporate Strategy and M&A team at Cargill, a global commodity and energy company based in Minneapolis. In this role, he split his time between leading M&A transactions and internal strategy projects both at the corporate and business unit level. Additionally, he served as a Vice President in the Institutional Equity Derivatives group at Morgan Stanley in London and New York.

Prior to joining IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global) as Chief European Economist in 2018, Ken was a Managing Director of Global Macro at TS Lombard, an independent research provider. Gavan Nolan, a specialist in credit markets, is an Executive Director responsible for business development and co-heads research for Fixed Income Pricing at S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Prior to his current role Paul has held various senior product development, analytical, and research roles within S&P’s Leveraged Finance Group since joining S&P in January 2002, that included being a primary analyst for a portfolio of high yield credits in the metals and mining, chemicals, and oil and gas sectors.
Previous to S&P, Paul spent almost fifteen years working in debt capital markets in various senior trading and research roles with both Lehman Brothers and Nomura International.

Anna Boyd joined Economic and Country Risk Consulting team in February 2018 and is responsible for integrity due diligence, market entry and investigative business intelligence consulting at S&P Global Market Intelligence.
She was previously the head of MENA corporate investigations at FTI Consulting where she managed many complex multi-jurisdictional matters in the field of integrity due diligence, asset tracing and litigation support, including in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Libya.
Prior to her move into consulting, she was head of the Middle East and North Africa Country Risk Forecasting team at S&P Global, responsible for political risk forecasting, scenario modelling and quantitative risk scoring across the whole region. Anna has led on projects including devising a political risk model relating to the security of Qatari food imports, managing a series of in-depth MENA region country studies for a US government client, and war-gaming possible future developments in the Syria conflict. She has provided expert comment to several media outlets including Al Jazeera, Reuters and the BBC. Anna started her career as an Arabic linguist with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Previously, he led market strategy for Credit Analytics, a suite of quantitative credit analysis tools and helped launch Climate Credit Analytics, a tool to understand the credit risk of climate change. He has presented on topics ranging from corporate credit analysis, transfer pricing and risk management to municipal finance and valuation methodologies at numerous industry conferences and webinars.

Lewis provides his expertise and insights to customers to support their decisions, with a focus on servicing clients across the buy-side, sell-side, commercial and central banks, and professional services. Previously, he was the global product lead for the PMI service and is a subject matter expert on the PMI.
He has a background in economics and previously worked as an economist covering the PMI surveys, where he was responsible for the production of monthly reports, research and analysis.
