Corporate Sustainability Assessment
Meet this Year's top sustainability performers.
Dear Stakeholder,
As we present the 2026 Sustainability Yearbook, we are reminded that sustainability performance is being tested in new ways: shifting regulatory expectations, changing stakeholder demands, and a more complex operating environment influencing what companies disclose and how consistently they report progress. This year’s Yearbook results reflect both continued leadership and a sharper differentiation between companies that are maintaining transparency and momentum and those facing headwinds that are slowing measurable advancement.
The scale of this effort remains significant. Out of the more than 9,200 companies assessed in the 2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) and eligible for inclusion in the 2026 Yearbook, only 848 achieved Yearbook membership. This outcome underscores the rigor of the CSA and the increasingly competitive bar for inclusion—where sustained execution, credible disclosure, and year-over-year performance improvement matter more than ever.
We recognize that these results are achieved against a backdrop of competing priorities and real-world constraints. Yet, the companies represented in this Yearbook demonstrate that credible sustainability performance remains possible and measurable when embedded into governance, strategy, risk management, and operational decision-making. Their progress signals where the global market is heading: toward stronger comparability, higher expectations for proof of impact, and a rising premium on trust.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all participating companies and to the CSA team at S&P Global. Your commitment, engagement, and rigor make this Yearbook possible—and help raise the standard for transparency and performance worldwide.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to sustainability and for being part of this journey.
Sincerely,
Robert Dornau
