Adds label to plants in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Oklahoma

Nine of company's 13 US facilities now carry the label

Move part of a $900 mil capital investment plan for 2026

Cement-producer Amrize has added its 'Made in America' label, which guarantees all components of its cement are manufactured and processed within the US, to four more plants, the company said April 16.

Amrize originally launched the label in November and added it to five of its key cement plants. Its latest announcement expands the label to its cement plants in Ada, Oklahoma; Alpena, Michigan; Joppa, Illinois; and Paulding, Ohio. The move means that nine of Amrize's 13 US cement plants now have the 'Made in America' guarantee.

"As America's builders prioritize domestic materials, our 'Made in America' label offers our customers the confidence of US performance standards along with reliable supply at scale, while supporting local jobs and communities," Patrick Cleary, Amrize senior vice president of US cement and supply chain, said in a statement.

Amrize, which has 18 plants across North America, was formed in June 2025 as the result of Swiss-based cement giant Holcim's spinoff of its North American business.

The Amrize plants that had previously received the label in November were facilities located in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; Midlothian, Texas; Devil's Slide, Utah; Holly Hill, South Carolina; and Portland, Colorado.

Amrize also launched its 'Product of Canada' label on March 17. The launch of the labels and production expansions is part of a broader $900 million capital investment plan for 2026.

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, assessed Cement CIF Houston at $90/mt on April 9.
