Platts discontinues bulk FOB Australia DAP assessment effective July 3

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued its bulk FOB Australia diammonium phosphate assessment, effective July 3.

The discontinuation follows an amended decision note published June 3 and a proposal note published March 13, based on diminishing trade volumes on an FOB Australia basis and a sustained shift toward delivered incoterms on a cost and freight basis.

The assessment currently appears under the symbol FDPBI04 in the Phosphate Market Report and the Platts price database.
