Platts to discontinue FOB Australia bulk DAP assessment effective July 3

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue its diammonium phosphate assessment FOB Australia bulk effective July 3.

This amended decision for discontinuation follows a proposal note(opens in a new tab) published March 13 and a decision note(opens in a new tab) published April 3.

The decision is based on diminishing trade volumes done on an FOB Australia basis with a sustained shift toward delivered incoterms on a cost and freight basis.

The date for the discontinuation has been changed to July 3, 2025 from June 26, 2025 previously.

The assessment currently appears under the symbol FDPBI04 in the Phosphate Market Report and the Platts price database.
