Platts proposes to discontinue FOB Australia bulk DAP assessment effective June 26

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to discontinue its diammonium phosphate (DAP) assessment FOB Australia bulk effective June 26.

The proposal for discontinuation is based on diminishing trade volumes done on an FOB Australia basis with a sustained shift toward delivered incoterms on a cost and freight (CFR) basis.

The assessment appears under the symbol FDPBI04 in the Phosphate Market Report and the Platts price database.
