Platts amends cargo sizes for North Sea crude assessments

In line with evolving shipping trends in the region and loading programs in 2022, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, amends the cargo size on its Johan Sverdrup, Gullfaks, Statfjord, Alvheim, and Asgard assessments, effective from May 2023 cargoes.

This follows a proposal note and a decision note.

The new assessment sizes from May 2023 cargoes onward will be:

Johan Sverdrup 700,000

Gullfaks 800,000

Statfjord 800,000

Alvheim 520,000

Asgard 650,000
