Platts discontinues several rice assessments and associated volatility estimates from April 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued several rice assessments and their associated volatility estimates, effective April 1, 2025.

This discontinuation follows a period of sustained inactivity in the markets covered by the affected assessments.

Following the market feedback period, Platts confirmed it would discontinue the six assessments in a separate subscriber note, which was published on Jan. 13: Platts to discontinue several rice assessments, associated volatility estimates, April 1 | S&P Global
