Platts to discontinue several rice assessments, associated volatility estimates, April 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue several rice volatility estimates, effective April 1, 2025.

This discontinuation goes alongside a previously communicated discontinuation of six Asia and Americas rice assessments which have seen a period of sustained inactivity.

The price assessments being discontinued are currently published in Rice Daily and Rice Weekly reports. The last dates of publication of the weekly and daily assessments will be March 28, 2025, and March 31, 2025, respectively.
