Platts discontinues MMA CFR China daily price assessment, effective Sept. 30

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has discontinued publication of its existing methyl methacrylate CFR China daily price assessment, effective Sept. 30, 2026, due to changes in trade flows.

After a careful review of recent market activity and feedback, Platts determined that the CFR China assessment no longer reflects market practices.

The following symbols have been discontinued:

A proposal to discontinue the assessment was published here June 18 and confirmed in a note published here July 7. These assessments appear in Polymerscan, Asian Petrochemicalscan, Solventswire, fixed pages PCA190 and PCA460, the Platts database and on S&P Global Energy Core.
