Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has launched weekly industrial-grade dipropylene glycol spot assessments on a free carrier (FCA) Northwest Europe basis, effective Feb. 27, 2026.
The assessment complements the existing propylene glycol assessments.
The new assessment was first proposed in a subscriber note published Jan. 9 and is available here. A subsequent note confirming the launch of the new assessment was published Jan. 30 and is available here.
Details of the assessment are as follows:

The weekly assessment is published on Friday, alongside the existing propylene oxide/propylene glycol commentary, and will appear on S&P Global Energy Core and in Olefinscan.
The new assessment follows a UK holiday publication schedule.
Pricing information for materials with other specifications and terms deviating from the above-mentioned parameters may be normalized accordingly.
