Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will launch weekly industrial grade dipropylene glycol spot assessments on a free carrier (FCA) Northwest Europe basis, effective Feb. 27, 2026.
The assessment will complement the existing propylene glycol assessments.
The new assessment was first proposed in a subscriber note published Jan. 9 and is available here.
The assessment will be based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment process at 16:30 UK time, Friday.
Details of the assessments are as follows:

The weekly assessment will be published on Friday, alongside the existing propylene oxide/ propylene glycol commentary and will appear on Platts Core and in Olefinscan.
The new assessment will follow a UK holiday publication schedule.
Pricing information for materials with other specifications and terms deviating from the abovementioned parameters may be normalized accordingly.
