Will US President Donald Trump agree to weaken or lift sanctions during an historic summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin? Only Trump likely knows.

On this week's Capitol Crude, Daniel Fried and Bill Richardson discuss the likelihood of sanctions negotiations at the upcoming summit. Fried is an Atlantic Council distinguished fellow and a former special assistant and National Security Council senior director for Presidents Clinton and Bush and Richardson is the former governor of New Mexico and the US Energy Secretary during the Clinton Administration.

Nadia Rodova, managing editor, Platts Moscow bureau and Rosemary Griffin, oil editor in Moscow, stop by to offer the view from Russia.
