S&P Global Platts will discontinue its US Gulf Coast high-sulfur straight run fuel oil, USGC and US Atlantic Coast 1% sulfur VGO barge assessments, as well as the low- and high-sulfur VGO US West Coast assessments, effective Feb. 1, 2021, due to limited observed spot market activity.
As part of this project, Platts will also discontinue related differential assessments.
Platts will continue to assess low- and high-sulfur vacuum gasoil and low-sulfur straight run fuel oil on the US Gulf Coast and the US Atlantic Coast.

Additionally, following market feedback, Platts will also discontinue its USAC high-sulfur straight run fuel oil assessment and related differentials due to limited spot market activity, effective Feb. 1, 2021.
Platts will continue to assess low- and high-sulfur vacuum gasoil and low-sulfur straight run fuel oil on the US Gulf Coast and the US Atlantic Coast.

These assessments currently appear in the Platts North American Crude and Product scan; on Platts Feedstocks Add-on pages 764, 752 and 765; and the Platts price database under the codes above.
