Platts proposes discontinuation of some US feedstock assessments

S&P Global Platts proposes to discontinue its US Gulf Coast high-sulfur straight run fuel oil, USGC and US Atlantic Coast 1% sulfur VGO barge assessments, as well as the low- and high-sulfur VGO US West Coast assessments, effective Feb. 1, 2021, due to limited observed spot market activity.

As part of this project, Platts also proposes to discontinue related differential assessments.

Platts will continue to assess low- and high-sulfur vacuum gasoil and low-sulfur straight run fuel oil on the US Gulf Coast and the US Atlantic Coast.

The proposed discontinuation will affect the following:
