Platts to discontinue two Americas Potash assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue two North American Potash price assessments, effective Jan. 28, 2026.

This decision follows a review of American Potash market dynamics and trade flows, with a focus on key fertilizer-producing and consuming regions.

The assessments that will be discontinued are:

The last publication date for these assessments will be Jan. 27, 2026.

These assessments are currently published in the weekly US Fertilizer Report, bi-weekly Potash Market Report and on Platts Connect.

The Potassium Chloride Standard FOB Vancouver Spot (FKCIB04) and the Potassium Chloride Granular FOB Vancouver (FKCIM04) assessments will not be affected by this change.
