Platts proposes to discontinue two Americas Potash assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to discontinue two North American Potash price assessments, effective Jan. 28, 2026.

This proposal follows a review of American Potash market dynamics and trade flows, with a focus on key fertilizer-producing and consuming regions.

The assessments proposed for discontinuation are:

The last publication date for these assessments would be Jan. 27, 2026.

These assessments are currently published in the weekly US Fertilizer Report , bi-weekly Potash Market Report and on Platts Connect.

The Potassium Chloride Standard FOB Vancouver Spot (FKCIB04) and the Potassium Chloride Granular FOB Vancouver (FKCIM04) assessments would not be affected by this change.
