Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued ULSD DAP assessments for cargoes delivered to South Brazil effective Nov. 3.
The discontinuation follows the decision to launch new port-specific all-origin assessments, which streamline the Platts suite of assessments in the region while providing greater transparency to diesel cargoes delivered on a DAP basis to Paranagua, Santos, Itaqui, Suape and Aratu, respectively, in Brazil.
Platts announced it would discontinue its ULSD DAP South Brazil assessments Aug. 8 in a subscriber note .
The Platts symbols affected by this discontinuation, as well as their corresponding weekly and monthly averages, are as follows:
