Platts discontinues Japan hydrogen pump prices effective Oct. 24

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued two Japan hydrogen pump price assessments, effective Oct. 24, 2025.

Platts has discontinued its monthly Japan Metropolitan H2 Pump Price assessments due to limited market activity in the underlying consumer Japan hydrogen pump market. Platts first proposed to discontinue these assessments on Aug. 1 in a subscriber note published here. Platts later announced its decision to discontinue these symbols in a subscriber note published Aug. 15. This follows a recent discontinuation of eight regional hydrogen pump price assessments in the Japanese market, published here.
