Platts discontinues several Japanese hydrogen pump price assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued eight of its Japan hydrogen pump price assessments, effective July 1, 2025.

The discontinuations simplify Platts' portfolio of hydrogen pump assessments, following a proposal note published here and a decision note published here. Platts will continue to publish hydrogen pump price assessments in the Japanese market through the Japan Metropolitan H2 Pump Price (HYPUN00) and the US dollar-denominated variant (HYPUM00).
