Platts changes publication day for European silicon assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has moved its weekly European silicon assessment to Wednesday publication from Thursday, effective Oct. 5.

The change in publication day was initially proposed Aug. 16 in a subscriber note available here:

The change aligns Platts European silicon with the US, where Platts silicon 553 grade assessment for Midwest delivery is published Wednesday each week.

The assessment affected is:

Silicon 553 grade, in-warehouse Europe (AAIUT00)

The assessment is published in Platts Metals Daily, Platts Metals Week Supplement and Platts Metals Alert on fixed pages PMA/MTL 9066 and 0407, and in the Platts database under the above-mentioned code.
