Platts to change publication day for European silicon assessment

Following a period of consultation, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, plans to move its weekly European silicon assessment to Wednesday publication from Thursday, effective Oct. 5.

The change will align Platts European silicon with the US, where Platts silicon 553 grade assessment for Midwest delivery is published Wednesday each week.

The assessment affected is:

Silicon 553 grade, in-warehouse Europe (AAIUT00)

The assessment is published in Platts Metals Daily, Platts Metals Week Supplement and Platts Metals Alert on fixed pages PMA/MTL 9066 and 0407, and in the Platts database under the above-mentioned code.
