Platts discontinues US styrene domestic transaction price

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued its styrene US domestic transaction price, effective Aug. 1, 2025, in light of market feedback.

The FOB US Gulf Styrene US Domestic Transaction Price was published every Friday on Europe & Americas Petrochemicalscan, Polymerscan, Platts Connect and Platts Market Center, as well as in the Price Point database under the AASIH00 code.

The last transaction price assessment was databased on July 25, 2025.

Platts continues to publish the FOB US Gulf daily spot styrene assessments, accompanied by a weekly commentary and rationale every Friday on Europe & Americas Petrochemicalscan, Polymerscan, Platts Connect and Platts Market Center, as well as in the Price Point database under the below symbols. Platts also continues to publish news reporting on industry developments. The monthly averages for the spot FOB USG price assessments reflect an arithmetic average of all daily assessments during the month.
