Platts clarifies carbon intensity values for carbon accounted LNG assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, would like to clarify that its daily carbon accounted LNG (CAL) assessments reflect the latest carbon intensity (CI) value for Australia, which will be refreshed around the 15th of every month, effective from July 15.

Further to the clarification (opens in a new tab)on the impact from changes to input data July 15, 2025, Platts CAL assessments have begun incorporating the latest CI value effective July 15.

The CI value is used for assessing the following CAL assessments:
