Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has amended the specifications of four Americas sulfur price assessments, effective July 3.
Based on market analysis and feedback, the amendments are aimed at providing a more detailed and up-to-date coverage of the sulfur markets.
The changes include introducing new "close" values for all four assessments and refining and evolving specifications such as quantity, timing, and loading and discharge ports to better reflect the sulfur spot market activity dynamics in the Americas region.
