Platts to amend four Americas sulfur price assessments specifications July 3
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will amend the specifications of four Americas sulfur price assessments, effective July 3.
The amendments will include introducing new "close" values for all four assessments and refining and evolving specifications such as quantity, timing, and loading and discharge ports to better reflect the sulfur spot market activity dynamics in the Americas region.
The existing low and high values will be formulated automatically at an interval of $1/mt above and below the "close" value.
The amendments to the specifications for the Americas weekly sulfur assessments are detailed below:
