Platts discontinues US LNG cargo cancellations monthly assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued publishing its monthly US LNG cargo cancellations (symbol code: ACANA00), effective June 2.

This is due to a change in market dynamics and reduced participation from industry stakeholders. The assessment had been at a value of zero since August 2024.

The affected assessment appeared in LNG Daily, Platts LNG alert, and Platts Connect.

Platts made this discontinuation proposal on March 25 and communicated the decision on April 22.
