Platts to discontinue US LNG cargo cancellations monthly assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue publishing its monthly US LNG cargo cancellations (symbol code: ACANA00), effective June 2, 2025.

This is due to a change in market dynamics and reduced participation from industry stakeholders. The assessment has been at a value of zero since August 2024.

The affected assessment appears in LNG Daily, Platts LNG alert, and Platts Connect.

Platts made this discontinuation proposal on March 25.
