Platts discontinues weekly 11:30 am London forex assessments

S&P Global Platts has discontinued all five weekly foreign exchange assessments which reflect value at 11:30 am London time every Friday, effective May 1, 2020.

This follows a proposal published April 9, which can be found at the following location: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/040920-platts-proposes-to-discontinue-weekly-1130-am-london-forex-assessments.

These foreign exchange prices were initially published as an additional point of reference in Platts' coverage of international rice markets. Platts has now discontinued these prices as they were not used in any of the rice assessments published by Platts.

The discontinuation affects the following:

These five weekly foreign exchange assessments appeared in the Platts Rice Weekly publication, also known as the LRI Weekly Report, and in the Platts price database under the assessment codes above.

In addition, Platts is continuing assessing the following daily foreign exchange prices, but has stoped publishing these prices in the Platts Rice Weekly publication. These prices continue to be published in the Platts Rice Daily publication, as well as the Platts price database under the codes below:
