SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to discontinue weekly 11:30 am London forex assessments

S&P Global Platts proposes to discontinue all five weekly foreign exchange assessments which reflect value at 11:30 am London time every Friday, effective May 1, 2020.

These foreign exchange prices were initially published as an additional point of reference in coverage of international rice markets by Platts.

Platts is now proposing to discontinue these prices as they are not used in any of the rice assessments published by Platts.

The proposed discontinuation affects the following:

US Dollar/Myanmar Kyat (USD/MMK) MMKUS04

These five weekly foreign exchange assessments currently appear in the Platts Rice Weekly publication, also known as the LRI Weekly Report, and in the Platts price database under the assessment codes above.

Platts plans to continue assessing the following daily foreign exchange prices, but intends to stop publishing these prices in the Platts Rice Weekly publication.

These prices will continue to be published in the Platts Rice Daily publication, as well as the Platts price database under the codes below:
