Platts to discontinue 13 US Nitrates assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue 13 US Nitrates price assessments, effective July 1, 2025.

This decision follows a review of the US domestic nitrates market dynamics and trade flows, with a focus on key fertilizer-producing and consuming regions.

Of the 13 price assessments to be discontinued, eight cover Urea Ammonium Nitrate and five cover Ammonium Sulphate. The price assessments that will be discontinued are:

The last publication date for these assessments will be June 26, 2025.

These assessments are currently published in the weekly US Fertilizer Report and Platts Connect.
