Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to discontinue 13 US Nitrates price assessments, effective July 1, 2025.
This proposal follows a review of the US domestic nitrates market dynamics and trade flows, with a focus on key fertilizer-producing and consuming regions.
Of the 13 assessments proposed for discontinuation, eight cover Urea Ammonium Nitrate (UAN) and five cover Ammonium Sulphate (AS). The assessments proposed for discontinuation are:
