Fertilizers
February 20, 2025
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched technical-grade monoammonium phosphate (TMAP) 12-61 price assessments, effective Feb. 20.
The launch includes three weekly single-number TMAP spot assessments of the ex-works and FOB markets for TMAP 12-61 in China.
Given the significance of TMAP's use as a precursor for new energy storage systems and as a high-efficiency fertilizer, the assessments are designed to reflect activity in both China's domestic and export markets. At the time of publication, February 2025, the above specifications primarily reflect exports to Latin America. Information on other aspects of the TMAP 12-61 market, including, but not limited to, purity levels, quantity, timing and location, will continue to be considered and normalized, where necessary, to align with the standard specifications listed above.
The assessments appear in the Fertecon Phosphate market report and can also be accessed via Platts Connect.
