Future of US LNG exports to Europe uncertain amid regulatory shifts

The European Union will require LNG imports to meet its methane emissions reporting starting in 2027. This poses a challenge for the US, whose LNG export facilities operate differently from most of the world. How these new rules will impact LNG trade and methane emissions reporting remains to be seen.
