Listen: If this feels familiar, it's because US oil has probably done this before

Ever feel like you're living the same scenario over and over and over again? On this week's episode of Capitol Crude, Platts senior editors Brian Scheid and Herman Wang talk with Platts Energy Week host Bill Loveless about how crude oil prices and policy are a lot like "Groundhog Day." The interview, which compares oil market volatility the market is seeing now with the peaks and valleys of the 1980s, comes ahead of the last episode of Platts Energy Week, set to air December 28.

Capitol Crude will be taking off December 29 for the holidays, but tune in January 5 for the first episode of 2015.
