A total of 162 LNG cargoes were recorded for the year, with output at 10.4 million mt a year, up 21% from 8.6 million mt in 2017.

"We achieved our production rate of 10.4 million mtpa by a combination of regular plant maintenance activities ?- including the successful shutdown of Train 1 and Train 3 -? and meticulous forward planning," Harib Al Kitani, the group?s CEO said.

A debottlenecking program which is currently being undertaken at the plant is also expected to boost overall gas output.

NGL production increased to 239,367 metric tons from 237,761 metric tons in 2017.

Oman LNG?s 2018 Readiness Plan, which has already started, is targeting increased production at all three trains through improved efficiencies and maintenance.

Of the 162 LNG cargoes which were exported, 111 were sold by Oman LNG, 51 on behalf of Qalhat LNG, and a further 11 were sold on the spot market.
