Aleksandr Antonov, Customer Care Advisor, Specialist – Upstream Engineering Client Services
Aleksandr Antonov is a Senior Technical Advisor in our Upstream Engineering Client Services Team, based in Calgary, Canada. He delivers training and provides worldwide support for S&P Global petroleum engineering software. Before joining S&P Global, he worked in both production and reservoir engineering roles. He holds an applied bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Canada.
Alireza Haghighat, Director – Upstream Technical Specialists
Alireza Haghighat is a senior technical advisor and trainer for Engineering Solutions at S&P Global. He is trainer for Reservoir (RTA)/ Forecast and can provide support for WellTest and Optimize. Prior to joining S&P Global, he was a senior reservoir engineer at Eclipse/Montage resources for almost 5 years. As a reservoir engineer, he was involved in rate transient analysis of unconventional assets (Utica and Marcellus), asset development, hydraulic fracture and reservoir simulation, well performance evaluation with data analytics, DFIT analysis and reserve evaluation. Alireza had been adjunct faculty at Pennsylvania State University (PSU) since 2015, teaching courses in Petroleum Engineering/Energy, Business and Finance departments. He received PhD in petroleum and natural gas engineering from West Virginia University and master’s degree is petroleum engineering from Delft university of Technology.
Ehsan Motamed, Customer Care Advisor, Principal – Upstream Engineering Client Services
As a technical advisor, Ehsan Motamed supports worldwide customers in optimizing S&P Global petroleum engineering software. He addresses technical questions and challenges. His primary focus is Harmony Reservoir and Welltest, with secondary focus on PERFORM, Optimize and Forecast. Ehsan has 20+ years of in-depth experience in conventional and unconventional reservoir characterization using numerical and analytical models. Ehsan holds a master’s degree in reservoir engineering from the Petroleum University of Technology, Iran. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Jose Inciarte, Customer Care Advisor, Principal – Upstream Engineering Client Services
As a technical advisor, Jose Inciarte provides worldwide support for S&P Global petroleum engineering software packages, including SubPUMP, PERFORM, Piper and Harmony Enterprise (Forecast, Reservoir & Optimize). He delivers training courses to new and potential users for Harmony and Piper. Jose is a certified Forecast and Piper instructor with more than fifteen years of engineering work experience, including ten years of experience in petroleum software testing, training, and support. He holds a bachelor’s degrees in petroleum engineering from Instituto Universitario Politécnico Santiago Mariño, Venezuela.
Layla Mahmood, Technical Specialist – Reservoir Engineering Solutions
Layla Mahmood is a Technical Specialist for S&P Global based out of the London Ropemaker Office and provides technical support for S&P Global customers. Covering Europe, Middle East and Africa, Layla presents value-focused presentations of engineering software to current and prospective clients and supports them with their engineering challenges. As a certified instructor, Layla delivers training courses for both conventional and unconventional rate transient analysis (RTA) covering engineering theory and workflows. Layla provides customers with workflow-to-analysis support in Harmony Forecast, Reservoir and Optimize, with her specialism primarily lying in RTA and specialist data analysis.
Layla is a graduate from the University of Portsmouth in Petroleum Engineering and is also conducting an Executive Education in Data Analytics at Imperial College, London.
Muhammad Atif, Customer Care Advisor, Principal – Upstream Engineering Client Services
Muhammad Atif is a seasoned Petroleum Engineer with over 16 years of engineering experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He joined S&P Global Canada as a Sr. Technical Advisor and provides engineering support to S&P Global clients worldwide primarily focused on Harmony Enterprise including Reservoir (RTA), Forecast, Optimize, & Harmony Analytics, along with other petroleum engineering platforms like Perform and Welltest (PTA). He is also a certified trainer for Harmony Enterprise Reservoir and delivers courses to clients locally and via remote virtual platform globally. He possesses excellent reservoir and production engineering acumen with practical experience on unconventional and conventional assets spanning multistage horizontal frac, SAGD and CSS technologies. He holds a Master’s degree in petroleum engineering from University of Alberta, Canada and is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Simon Davies, Associate Director – Upstream Engineering Client Services
Simon Davies is a primary creator of basic and advanced training material for S&P Global software products, including Harmony Enterprise (Forecast, Reservoir and Optimize) and Piper. He is also competent with related software including WellTest and SubPUMP. Since joining S&P Global in 2011, he has been involved in all aspects of the software development process including writing software specifications, creating detailed test procedures, and developing complex functional examples. A member of the SPE and APEGA, he holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Dalhousie University, Canada, and a bachelor’s degree in petroleum technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Canada.
Tracy Brenner, Director – Upstream Engineering Client Services
Tracy Brenner creates content, delivers training, and provides advanced support to clients worldwide for both S&P Global Harmony Enterprise and Piper. She has worked on product development for both applications with a focus on database connections, imports, Reservoir-Piper interoperability, Forecast, Optimize and Monitor features. Prior to joining S&P Global, Tracy worked with ExxonMobil & Imperial Oil as a technician and application specialist. She brings practical experience with E&P operations across all business stages in both conventional and unconventional assets. Tracy has worked on shale gas, oil sands (CSS, SAGD & Mining) and offshore conventional assets on both Reservoir Engineering and Geoscience teams. She is skilled in GIS, core data analysis, well logs and image analysis. With a BSc & MSc from the University of Calgary, she has over 25 years’ experience teaching and 18 supporting technical applications.
