Platts updates FOLicht UCOME +5 EXW Central Europe assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has updated the basis location, delivery terms, and the Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP) for the Platts FOLicht UCOME +5 EXW Central Europe price assessment (AFOLB04), effective Dec. 15, 2025.

Platts has changed the CFPP to zero degrees Celsius from plus five degrees Celsius, to better reflect the market and specifications of UCOME. Platts has also updated the location and delivery terms to Delivered Central Europe, basis Vienna, where Central Europe refers to Germany and Austria.

The delivered basis considers FCA and DAP price indications. Other locations may be considered and may be normalized to the basis location as needed.

The update was first proposed Nov. 3 in a subscriber note available here, and was confirmed Nov. 17.
