Platts amends quality specifications for India, Myanmar rice assessments, effective Sept. 1
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has amended the quality specifications of five India and Myanmar rice price assessments, effective Sept. 1, following research and market engagement to ensure alignment with prevailing market standards and provide greater clarity regarding Platts rice coverage.
Platts announced the decision Aug. 3 in a subscriber note available here, following a proposal published July 15 here.
The amendments affect the following assessments:

All other specifications for the above assessments remain unchanged.
