In response to market developments, Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, publishes a daily assessment rationale and bids/offers/trades/exclusions information for the Aframax 80,000 metric ton Vancouver-China and Suezmax 130,000 mt Guyana-UK Continent dirty tanker assessments effective June 1, 2026.
The Aframax 80,000 mt Vancouver-China rationale and BOTEs relate to symbol <TVBCA00>, a daily assessed spot value which is applied to an annual constant to generate benchmark reference <TVBCB00>.
The Suezmax 130,000 mt Guyana-UK Continent rationale and BOTEs relate to symbol <DGUMU00>, a daily assessed spot value which is applied to an annual constant to generate benchmark reference <DGUMW00>.
The Platts Aframax 80,000 mt Vancouver-China and Suezmax 130,000 mt Guyana-UK Continent dirty tanker assessments have been listed by the Intercontinental Exchange for settling freight futures contracts or Forward Freight Agreements.
The Aframax 80,000 mt Vancouver-China dirty tanker assessment rationale and BOTEs information appear in the Dirty Tankerwire publication and on the fixed pages SHP2494/PGT1807 and SHP2496/PGT1809, respectively.
The Suezmax 130,000 mt Guyana-UK Continent dirty tanker assessment rationale and BOTEs information appear in the Dirty Tankerwire publication and on the fixed pages SHP2493/PGT1806 and SHP2495/PGT1808, respectively.
