Platts launches DAP CFR Thailand assessment Feb 5

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has launched an assessment for Diammonium Phosphate CFR Thailand, effective Feb. 5, 2026. This assessment will further improve transparency in the DAP market in Southeast Asia.

The assessment is published as a single "close" value, with a standardized range of $1/mt above (high) and below (low). Specifications for the assessment are as follows:

Assessment Name: Diammonium Phosphate CFR Thailand

Symbol: DPCSA04

Bulk Quality: Duty-free dark brown DAP with nitrogen content of 18%, a standard P205 content of 46%, and a maximum moisture content of 2.5%.

Quantity: 6,000-8,000 mt

Location: CFR Ko Sichang Port, Thailand

Timing: Delivery 14-45 days forward

Frequency: Weekly, on Thursday

Timestamp: 16:30 Penang close, published according to the Penang publishing calendar

Information on other relevant markets -- including DAP of different colors, qualities, sizes and locations -- will be considered and normalized, where necessary, to align with the standard specifications listed above.

The launch was initially proposed Nov. 17, 2025, and the decision to launch was confirmed on Jan. 8, 2026.
