Platts discontinues European PET and PVC gross contract price assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has discontinued its assessments of the gross contract prices for polyethylene terephthalate and polyvinyl chloride suspension grade, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
Platts previously published a series of assessments for the gross contract price (before discounts) of PET and PVC, alongside its net contract prices (after discounts). Gross contract price assessments were calculated based on typical net-to-gross spreads surveyed from the market.
The following assessments have been discontinued:
