Holcim forecasts 3%-5% sales growth in 2026

Latin America posts double-digit sales gains

Infrastructure spending drives global demand

Swiss building materials company Holcim expects its net sales to grow 3%-5% in 2026 as infrastructure spending and demand for sustainable construction solutions accelerate, the company said Feb. 27 after reporting strong 2025 financial results driven by robust performance across all regions.

The outlook comes as governments worldwide increase infrastructure investment and builders adopt low-carbon materials.

Latin America delivered particularly robust results in 2025, with double-digit net sales growth in local currency. The region benefited from strong infrastructure activity and expansion of Disensa, Holcim's construction materials retail franchise, which added 460 stores during the year to reach 2,365 locations across the region, the company said.

"Social housing project with 1.8 million new homes and infrastructure to accelerate growth in Mexico," the company said in an analyst presentation. "High demand for housing and infrastructure to further boost recovery in Argentina and Central America."

Europe showed accelerating momentum as customer demand for sustainable offerings and decarbonization solutions drove pricing power. Infrastructure activity and residential building permits surged toward year-end, supporting the positive outlook.

"Strong activity in infrastructure, as well as a surge in residential building permits, is expected to drive continued profitable growth [In Europe]," the company said.

In the Asia, Middle East and Africa region, performance was driven by government spending and substantial residential market growth in North Africa, as well as customer demand for Holcim's sustainable offering across the region, with strong demand expected to continue in Africa and a positive outlook in Australia, the company said.

"Good momentum in Australia, for example, Rocky Ring Road, North East Link project and 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane," it said.

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, last assessed the Platts CEMDEX Turkey price, reflecting Ordinary Portland Cement CEM I 42.5R (bulk), at $52/mt FOB Feb. 26.
