Partnership aims to strengthen Hoffmann Green's presence in southwest France
MTP to supply clinker-free cement across public works sectors
French low-carbon cement producer Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies has entered a strategic partnership with Matériaux Travaux Publics (MTP), a distributor of construction materials for public works companies in France's Aquitaine and Occitanie regions, the companies said in a joint statement Nov. 12.
The agreement aims to strengthen Hoffmann Green's presence in southwest France and expand the availability of its 0% clinker, low-carbon cement products across MTP's regional network.
The materials are designed to meet the technical and environmental standards required for public works projects, the companies said.
"This partnership marks a new step in our territorial expansion strategy," Hoffmann Green co-founders Julien Blanchard and David Hoffmann said. "By partnering with a recognized player such as MTP, we are strengthening our proximity to public works companies and accelerating the deployment of low-carbon cement solutions in the South of France."
Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies develops clinker-free cement products aimed at reducing CO2 emissions in the construction sector.
MTP supplies construction materials to local authorities and agricultural professionals across nine key segments, including sanitation, water supply, dry networks, building, civil engineering, urban development, chemicals and tools.
"By integrating Hoffmann Green Cement into our offering, we enable our clients to access innovative materials that combine performance and environmental responsibility," said Philippe Borrelly, CEO of MTP and Durand Béton.
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, last assessed CEMDEX Turkey at $55/mt FOB on Nov. 6.
