The 33rd annual Middle East Petroleum & Gas Conference (MPGC) will now take place in London, United Kingdom, on June 2-3, 2026.
Against the backdrop of heightened geopolitical risk, disrupted trade routes, and extreme price volatility, MPGC 2026 is relocating from Dubai and will convene the global oil and gas community in London. The event will take place live, with options to attend in person or virtually.
MPGC brings together senior leaders from NOCs, IOCs, trading houses, refiners, shippers, financial institutions, and technology providers. The program is designed to provide decision-grade insight on the issues now driving market outcomes: security of supply, price formation, shifting crude and product flows, freight risk, and downstream competitiveness.
What to Expect:
Themes Shaping MPGC:
Geopolitics, chokepoints, and supply security. The Middle East remains central to global crude and product supply. MPGC will examine the implications of transit risk, regional security dynamics, and disruption scenarios for pricing and operational strategy.
Price formation and market structure: Brent–Dubai, Dubai/Oman and beyond. In volatile conditions, reliable benchmarks and transparent price discovery become even more critical. MPGC will explore what current market structures are signalling - and how participants are managing basis risk and volatility.
Crude and product trade flows: recalibration at speed. From sanctions and shifting buyer behaviour to route changes and refined product displacement, trade flows are being reshaped. MPGC will map where barrels are moving - and where constraints are tightening.
Downstream and refining: strategic importance in a tight products market. Refining resilience and product availability have become strategic priorities. MPGC will assess the outlook for margins, capacity utilization, and export competition across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Middle East - Africa linkages and the new competitive landscape. New capacity additions and changing import needs are redrawing regional product balances. MPGC will explore implications for Middle East suppliers and Africa’s evolving refining and logistics requirements.
