Energy Transition in a New International Environment

In May 2022, China National Petroleum Economics and Technology Research Institute (CNPC ETRI) and S&P Global will jointly organize the International Energy Executive Forum 2022. Given the ongoing Covid epidemic, the forum will still be held in a combination of online and offline formats to facilitate the participation of a broader global audience. Now in its ninth year, the International Energy Executive Forum continues to feature a wide range of topics related to the global energy market which will be discussed by business executives, government officials and industry thought leaders from home and abroad.

The forum, entitled "Energy Transition in a New International Environment", will include keynote speeches and panel discussions focusing on the new international environment, energy markets with new targets, energy company transformations, low-carbon sector finance, and implications of these changes and potential opportunities for collaboration. With further changes in global geopolitical relations, and more jurisdictions proposing carbon neutral or net zero emission targets and putting them into action, this forum will bring new inspiration to the industry.
