S&P Global Platts proposes to standardize the rounding of its European LPG assessments to the nearest 25 cents/mt with effect from February 7, 2020.
The propane and butane assessments currently round to the nearest 25 cents/gal or $1/mt. This revised standardization would allow for greater precision in Platts assessments across the LPG complex, which aligns with observed trading conventions.
The assessments affected by these proposed changes are:
PROPANE
BUTANE
