S&P Global Platts updated the Worldscale shipping flat rates used to calculate its Brazil Import Parity Prices, effective January 1.
It also adjusted the LPG freight calculation components to reflect 0.50% bunker fuel instead of high sulfur fuel oil, to comply with the new International Maritime Organization regulation.
The shipping flat rates -- one component of the calculated prices that also include product cost, demurrage, taxes and other fees -- are as follows:
