SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts updates European fuel oil netbacks for 2017

Changes will be be made across S&P Global Platts fuel oil cargo assessments for Europe with effect from January 3, 2017, to reflect the latest Worldscale freight rates for 2017.

In Northwest Europe, the flat rate used to derive CIF NWE LSFO cargoes as a net-forward to FOB NWE LSFO cargoes is $5.47/mt.

The Baltic-UKC flat rate used to derive FOB NWE HSFO cargoes from CIF NWE HSFO cargoes is $7.60/mt.

In the Mediterranean, the flat rate used to derive FOB Med HSFO cargoes from CIF Med HSFO cargoes is $4.84/mt.

The flat rate used to derive FOB Med LSFO cargoes from CIF Med LSFO cargoes is $4.61/mt.

The Antwerp-Milazzo route used for the UKC-Med LSFO cargo flat rate is $8.48/mt.
