Platts proposes to change the basis volume reflected in its Long Range 1 clean tanker freight rates from 45,000 mt to 55,000 mt for the Persian Gulf-India route, reflecting the fact that Indian ports typically now receive LR1s loaded up to 55,000 mt. These rates are published in the Platts Clean Tankerwire and on Platts Global Alert Page 136. Platts proposes to change the assessed LR1 cargo size on March 1, 2012. Please send all comments or questions by February 1, 2012, to asia_tankers@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com.
